1. How do I start my thesis?
Create a free account, tell Tesify what your thesis is about and it suggests a starting structure — introduction, literature review, methodology, results. Rename, reorder or delete any chapter: the structure is yours.
2. Do I have to write the text myself?
Yes, and that’s the point. Tesify organises your chapters, suggests improvements to what you’ve already drafted and builds your references. Every sentence in your document is one you typed.
3. Which referencing style does it use?
APA 7 by default, with hanging indents and an alphabetised reference list. Faculties vary their house rules, so always check your thesis guidelines — the final format is your call.
4. What does the originality check actually do?
It compares your text against published sources and shows you the matches, so you can fix a quotation you left unmarked or a citation you half-finished — before it reaches your committee. You run it; it’s for you.
5. Can I work in short sessions?
Yes. Your work saves as you go and reopens exactly where you left it, with your structure in view — designed for twenty minutes between marking and a seminar.
6. How do I export it?
Export to PDF, Word or LaTeX with your formatting applied. Check the result against your faculty’s thesis submission guidelines before you upload it.
7. Can I write in French?
Yes. You can write your mémoire or your thèse in French, with citations and the reference list built the same way. The interface is in English for now.
8. How much does it cost?
The free plan stays free — no card, no trial timer. There’s a paid plan; you’ll see it inside the app, never before you’ve written anything.
